Architectural and General Contractor Support

We add value to engineering and code analysis for site acquisition, programming, and development. We have provided services to numerous architectural firms and construction contractors on more than 100 projects for design, development, tenant improvement of facilities that store/use, and handle hazardous materials. Our role has been to work with owner to assess site and facility suitability; provide assistance with environmental reviews, coordinate Phase I and II Site Assessments, develop potential remediation and engineering costs; and develop the programs for site for facility location, service yards, material flow, emergency vehicle access and egress, building adjacency, personnel flow, and other safety concerns. We address building and fire code compliance issues in a timely, cost effective manner with respect to: a) hazardous materials, process gases, process tool access / egress, and tool exhaust and abatement; b) employee access, egress, and evacuation routes; c) review of submittal packages to avoid problems typically encountered during city plan check, regulatory permit reviews; and d) system re-design, change-orders, and construction scope-creep.
